When clients, guests, models, friends are coming to the studio for a shoot or meeting, I like to have some fresh flowering plants at the front door to greet them. I head over to the nursery and see what is seasonally available. Recently, I saw fuschia plants for the first time. I learned that hummingbirds love them and, sure enough, within a week or two, they became frequent visitors. I also learned that the blossoms are very photogenic, and spent a bit of time with my macro lens making images.
