Spring in Seattle

On my first evening photographing the Coriolis Dance Co-LAB 5 performances, I wanted to be sure that I would arrive well ahead of time.  I opted to get into the city well ahead of rush hour, and then spent about an hour at the Seattle Arboretum until it was time to head to the nearby theater.  It worked out well–the day was very pleasant, with a high, thinly veiled overcast which was just beautiful light for image making.

A few days later I spent an hour or so in a park near my home.  It was another spectacular spring day.
